"Relaxing." That's the word that best describes the look, feel and comfy-cozy ambiance of Song of the Sea; a classic Little River vacation hideaway; this newly renovated home is filled with classic charming touches of the fifties and sixties tastefully blended with modern day amenities and furnishings.

Everything about Song of the Sea says "Slow down. Relax." Large windows and a spacious, sunny deck offer blue water Pacific views, framed by coastal pine, fir, and cypress. A quiet country garden abounds with flowers. While inside, the multi-level living spaces create a nice sense of privacy, complete with a jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom to die for, and a large stone fireplace to ward off the sundown chill with its friendly glow while watching a collection of movies filmed in Mendocino.

The moment you walk in through the front gate, you'll have a feeling that you've been here before...that you've come back to a place from a happier, simpler time. Stay here once, and odds are you'll soon be making plans to return again and again. It's just that special.

Located directly north of the famous Heritage House Inn, Song of the Sea offers easy, private access, by foot, to the nearby cliffs and sea arches along the Pacific. By car, active guests are less than five minutes away from a full range of activities, including: hiking, biking, kayaking, diving, golf, tennis and more.

For the romantic Victorian Experience, Mendocino Village is seven minutes north with its upscale shops, galleries, Art Center, theater, beaches and breathtaking Headlands panorama. Close by, too, are some of Northern California's top-rated restaurants; Albion River Inn, Ledford House, Little River Inn, and the Ravens. And, for wine lovers, the vineyards of Anderson Valley beckon, just 40 minutes southeast via scenic Highway 1 and Route 128.
