The name HRANRAD HUS is derived from an Anglo-Saxon kenning which translates as "whale's road house." And, whales are very much in evidence, December through March, as they migrate past the stunningly beautiful cliff side of this one of a kind vacation home.

HRANRAD HUS is an architectural masterpiece of massive wooden beams, floor to ceiling view windows, twelve foot high deck doors, and an imposing concrete fire place/chimney structure upon which the entire house is stress loaded for uncommon stability. A loft adds a feeling of openness to the bedroom and living room areas, while the master bathroom exudes sheer elegance with its brass fixtures, and glass walled shower.

Outside, HRANRAD HUS distinctive copper roof, ample decks, and redwood water tanks blend perfectly with cypress, pine, and alder trees on more than two acres of private coastal meadow land. Deer, raccoon, and a wide variety of native birds abound here, all year 'round.

Rates are calculated to the nearest dollar, starting with a two-night minimum, based on the time of year, length of stay, and number of people in party.
