The seasonal brook that runs through the property gave this cottage its name. Brookside is just part of the perfect, serene setting for this cozy country home with its well-tended gardens,(Rhododendrons, Fuchsias and more!) grounds and trees 'round-about; in a quiet residential neighborhood just a short walk away from the ocean cove, waterfall, and fern gullies of Russian Gulch State Park.

Nearby, too, you'll discover the fully-restored Point Cabrillo Light House...and a bit further still, the Pacific headlands and the surfing/diving beach at Caspar South.

By car, Mendocino Village is just three-minutes south via scenic Highway-1, or go north a few minutes more to Fort Bragg and the spectacular dunes, rock stacks, and white water coastline beyond.

Brookside offers the ambiance of an English cottage, as warm and welcoming as home baked scones. Lots of bay windows...a bright, warm interior of pastel colors and easy-going furnishings...a morning garden view from your dining room table...and, a super-private hot tub patio; sunny during the day, star-filled at night.

And, oh yes...don't forget those two babbling brooks we mentioned at the beginning. At Brookside, they're just waiting to welcome you home...and lull you into a well deserved state of blissful, totally self-indulgent relaxation.
