Violet Bea Cottage has risen up from the ashes of a devastating fire; rebuilt from the ground up, and came back in the service as one of MCR's most unique vacation homes.
Imagine it. A brand new, state of the art home right in the middle of the Mendocino Village Historical District--something that no other vacation rental service can offer. Very "Mendocino" on the outside, but a whole world different on the inside.
Among the amenities at Violet Bea Cottage: a private hot tub tucked beneath a genuine Mendocino wooden water tower, a soaking tub in a separate bedroom suite, three-level living, with lots of room and plenty of privacy, all new furnishings and appliances, a gourmet kitchen, central forced air heating, and a Danish glassfront woodstove. There's even a small Japanese garden to provide peace, quiet, and instant stress relief in unlimited amounts.
Violet Bea Cottage still offers its unmatched view of Mendocino Bay from a brand new deck, of course. And, as for the neighborhood, well, the Mendocino galleries, restaurants, shops, Headlands, Art Center, live theater, and other special attractions are still just the same; a short and pleasant walk away in any direction you choose.
