If ever there was a vacation rental home tailor-made for families with kids (or, for extended families or friends) this is it. Everything about Sunset Way is spacious, comfy/casual, and totally dedicated to the proposition that a visit to the Coast should be nothing but fun.
Located on Pacific Ocean meadowlands just south of Fort Bragg, Sunset Way features a blue water, sunset view in the front, and a huge (very private) enclosed hot tub/BBQ patio in the back.
Inside, elbow room and privacy are the order of the day, with every bedroom boasting its own full bath room--a welcome rarity anywhere in Mendocino.
Sunset Way is nicely situated in the middle of everything the Coast has to offer in the way of things to see and do. Fort Bragg and MacKerricher State Park are just minutes north on Scenic Highway-1, offering everything from beachcombing, to horseback riding, to first run movies, shopping, and full services.
Noyo Harbor bustles nearby. And, for art, live theater, quaint shops, restaurants, and Victorian architecture, there's world famous Mendocino Village a short drive south.
And, beyond that? There's wine to taste, rivers and forests to explore, and even a lighthouse, or two, to visit.
