The charming, historic Madeira House was built in 1884 In the heart of Mendocino is the perfect place to enjoy all that the village and the coast have to offer.  On a quiet street within walking distance of the beach at Big River, breathtaking sunsets in Mendocino Headlands State Park, the grocery store and all of the shops, restaurants and bars in town, this is the perfect place to soak in the natural beauty of Mendocino while getting to enjoy this incredible community. 

This comfy 2 bedroom/2 bathroom home is equipped with everything you need for a momorable stay. Downstairs there is a full bedroom with cal king bed, a full bathroom with tub/shower combo, fully stocked kitchen with new appliances including gas stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, and new sink and faucet.  Dining room with beautiful window bench and 6 person dining table, a living room with large flat screen TV and DVD player, and a laundry room with washer and dryer. 


Upstairs has 1 bedroom with a queen size bed and attached full bathroom with shower. There is an additional bedroom/office on the 2nd floor with a fold out couch that sleeps two, set up as a creative work space with an ocean view in the distance. 


In the lovely landscaped yards there is an attached deck off the back of the house with a new gas grill for BBQ and large separate deck in the backyard with picnic table, umbrella and reclining chairs perfect for soaking up the sun and ocean air.  In the front of the house there is a large, beautiful reading porch perfect for enjoying a book or watching the day go by with a glass of wine.
