Your Mendocino Coast vacation couldn't possibly be any more romantic, relaxing, or affordable than a once-in-a-lifetime stay at the Point Cabrillo Lightkeeper's House.

It is a beautifully restored turn of the century residence overlooking the world-renowned Point Cabrillo Lighthouse and Light Station, located on a sweeping Pacific Ocean Headland.

The view from your porch offers a breathtaking Coastal feast for the eyes; passing gray whales, dolphins, and fishing boats...pelicans, gulls, wild turkey, and 47 other species of birds...families of deer...sunsets, starry skies, full moons to die for...and, the endless waves and wonder of the ocean just 57 feet below your clifftop.

Inside, the Lightkeeper's House is authentically furnished, circa 1909, yet it offers comfortable, upgraded amenities, including four bedrooms with their own bathrooms and a full Viking-equipped kitchen. The adjacent Cottages - Point Cabrillo West Cottage and Point Cabrillo East Cottage - offer two extra bedrooms for larger groups and are handicapped accessible.

Outside, you have 300 acres of surrounding Nature Preserve to explore. The fascinating Lightkeeper's Home Museum is right next door, preserved as it was in 1935. And, of course, there's the working Point Cabrillo Lighthouse just a short stroll from your front door.

The Head Lightkeeper's House is located midway between Mendocino Village and Fort Bragg, easily reached via scenic Highway One, your gateway to everything our beautiful Coast has to offer.

Additional Note: Two-Night Minimum and One Low Rate All Year Round. Exceptions: High Rate and Three-Night Minimum on President's Day Weekend, Easter Weekend, Memorial Day Weekend, July 4th Weekend, Labor Day Weekend, Thanksgiving (Four Nights), Christmas and New Year's Peak Period.
